Starting with the midterm election in November 2022 Madison and Greene counties became part of the newly configured 7th Congressional District. Culpeper and Orange Counties were in the “Old 7th” and remain a part of the "New 7th.”

Abigail Spanberger has represented the 7th Congressional District since her election to the U.S. Congress in 2018. Greene County Democrats helped reelect her in 2022 when redistricting placed us in her district. Abigail has always focused on constituent services, problem solving and working “across the aisle".
